@MrPappitoes very true it was very hard for my dad to let go and let me drive on my own, since then he’s been a little calm and when i’m out in about i always call him to let him know where i’m at and that i’m ok:)
@ladysedonya thats what dads do Ladysedonya. I had three girls that took off to college at different times but everytime it was like “i feel like crying” moment. Well, I did a little. I’m just a softie I guess. You wish they could stay home forever but you’ve got to let them go and fly on their own. But they know that if things get too rough the door is open for them.
this is like me and my dad I thought he would never let me drive but when he decided to let me drive by myself he did the same thing the dad in the commercial did lol
I was a television broadcast producer for 20 years and this is one of the best spots ever. The casting is awesome and the subtle gestures of the little girl who becomes the absolutely gorgeous young woman is brilliant. The father is so sweet……I LOVE IT!
This shows the young adults how universal it is for parents to see them as their little girl/boy in their eyes. Yes, parents need to adjust to their suddenly becoming a young lady/man, so don’t yell at your parents as they are adjusting! One day this will happen to you when you have kids!

I was blown away by this commercial! Perhaps the best ad I have seen in 50 years of TV.

This commercial is amazing because it addresses the perfect balance between head and heart, in a real situation, we can all relate to.

@sunshineof1990 No, not lame at all. I was the same way. I have a daughter who is nine years old, and this made me realize how fast time passes.

I know this sounds lame but I totally cried when I saw this commercial.
