  1. I love the 80s interpretation of futuristic / robot-like elements. the synth sounds and everything.

  2. Ricardo Montalban=STUD

  3. Was that Jim Fagan doing the early Chrysler ads?

  4. @MsTVRetro I can’t thumbs-up that enough. And the best part is, all those cool 80s cars are pretty cheap now and because they were built to last, most of them only have minor problems!

  5. I love how they emphasize that those Chryslers were AMERICAN made. Hahahaha, my parents’ ’84 Horizon was almost entirely European.

  6. “watch it all w/o changing your dial” how long has it been since I’ve heard that?
Aww, I’m bummed I din’t get to see that spectacular line-up @ the Holiday casino
those early VCR’s must’ve seemed like magic
those Michelob ad really did make me thirsty
    “the taste of Ebola” lol

  7. wow, those cams were huge, now i have one on my belt for daily vlogging, man where did the time go?

  8. @rqbuchanan lol..good one

  9. *Danny *Budweiser

  10. Can’t say that I’m surprised to see Danby Glover in a Budwiser commercial….

  11. @nozcr lol,kinda looks like him

  12. I like the square look of the older cars. Now all cars look like shapeless blobs of plastic-no character.

  13. George Bush was doing commercials for Chrysler in 1982?

  14. 5:08 Wow! I’m surprised that shot of the women in pasties made air!

  15. So, Reggie, is that your fuckit seat? ;)

  16. A computerized camera? That’ll never catch on.

  17. 10.9% financing? Whoa :)

  18. @TheGuylanda128 The cassette in the ad was the then recent 1980 remake starring Neil Diamond.

  19. 5:41 Who watches The Jazz Singer?

  20. @Sincopare When accounting for inflation, the Mazda GLC would cost $12,694 in 2011 dollars. Not exactly expensive.

  21. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a “Happy Hanukkah” station ID before.

One of my relatives had one of those Chrysler E-Class cars that talked to you. I thought it was pretty damn cool when I was a little kid. Now I think I’d just get annoyed if my car talked to me. Those talking GPSs are bad enough.

We used to record on the longest speed possible, too, because we didn’t have money to blow on VHS tapes. Now I wish we hadn’t, since that shit deteriorates like nobody’s business.

  22. You saved the best for less…”ALL MONITORED SYSTEMS ARE FUNCTIONING” at 6.50!

  23. Throwing around a 2000 lb hatchback was fun back in the day. But that was a lot of money for such a simple car!

  24. @gli7utubeo really? at one time they made special VCR’s for survailence that could fill 72 hours on one 8 hour vhs, but they were like $399!!

  25. Murtaugh isn’t too old for a Bud. 6:25
