I love the 80s interpretation of futuristic / robot-like elements. the synth sounds and everything.

Ricardo Montalban=STUD
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
Was that Jim Fagan doing the early Chrysler ads?
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
@MsTVRetro I can’t thumbs-up that enough. And the best part is, all those cool 80s cars are pretty cheap now and because they were built to last, most of them only have minor problems!
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
I love how they emphasize that those Chryslers were AMERICAN made. Hahahaha, my parents’ ’84 Horizon was almost entirely European.
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
“watch it all w/o changing your dial” how long has it been since I’ve heard that?
Aww, I’m bummed I din’t get to see that spectacular line-up @ the Holiday casino
those early VCR’s must’ve seemed like magic
those Michelob ad really did make me thirsty
“the taste of Ebola” lol
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06

January 28th, 2012 - 22:06

January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
Can’t say that I’m surprised to see Danby Glover in a Budwiser commercial….
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
@nozcr lol,kinda looks like him
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
I like the square look of the older cars. Now all cars look like shapeless blobs of plastic-no character.
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
George Bush was doing commercials for Chrysler in 1982?
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
5:08 Wow! I’m surprised that shot of the women in pasties made air!
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
So, Reggie, is that your fuckit seat?
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
A computerized camera? That’ll never catch on.
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
10.9% financing? Whoa
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
@TheGuylanda128 The cassette in the ad was the then recent 1980 remake starring Neil Diamond.
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
5:41 Who watches The Jazz Singer?
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
@Sincopare When accounting for inflation, the Mazda GLC would cost $12,694 in 2011 dollars. Not exactly expensive.
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
Can’t say I’ve ever seen a “Happy Hanukkah” station ID before.
One of my relatives had one of those Chrysler E-Class cars that talked to you. I thought it was pretty damn cool when I was a little kid. Now I think I’d just get annoyed if my car talked to me. Those talking GPSs are bad enough.
We used to record on the longest speed possible, too, because we didn’t have money to blow on VHS tapes. Now I wish we hadn’t, since that shit deteriorates like nobody’s business.
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
You saved the best for less…”ALL MONITORED SYSTEMS ARE FUNCTIONING” at 6.50!
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
Throwing around a 2000 lb hatchback was fun back in the day. But that was a lot of money for such a simple car!
January 28th, 2012 - 22:06
@gli7utubeo really? at one time they made special VCR’s for survailence that could fill 72 hours on one 8 hour vhs, but they were like $399!!
