Why set the bar too high? Watch the newest commercial from Lexus to see how taking the hard way inspires absolute confidence.

come on! drop that chain of cars down!
October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
@rivengle the cars won’t break obviously cuz they are made of steel but they will deform so when you put them back gently on the ground, the alignment will be a little off. Its just a marketing stunt – all cars have tow hooks for transport that are strong enough to support all that weight
October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
@kissmeraas You’re wrong. They’re only attaching the chain between the cars, they’re not attaching the cars to one long chain. The cars have to support their own weight, along with the other cars’ weight.

October 24th, 2011 - 19:42

@theoriginalstig7
Any “idiot” who has confidence in Lexus, hahaha.
October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
@rivengle Wow. If I’m stupid, you must be brain dead. Try learning to read. They’re showing off the strength of their cars, but like I said in my previous comment, you could do the same stunt with any old vehicles as long as the chains and crane are strong enough. So as an advert, it’s a FAIL!
October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
@jc2pb4jc2tk2 its a real value giving the technology and years in development the LFA went through. Plus its a Lexus, it goes through rigoruous testing just look at the videos. I am so impressed how theey are made, they put alot of hard work and effort into thier products. That is why we love it.
October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
@Dragon1425 it’s not. how stupid are you people commenting on this video?
October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
@kissmeraas wow. you’re stupid.
lexus is an automobile manufacturer. and only an automobile manufacturer.
by using common sense, you could deduct that the “steel” in this commercial is within the automobile itself, which is a lexus.
October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
@noHiwayOpTn a 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo is about 250k in Canada, LFA is about 350k ?
October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
Er…So Lexus makes steel cable, or is cranes?!
You could do this with a load of scrap cars, or even tractors if you wanted?!

October 24th, 2011 - 19:42
I thought the crane carrying the first Lexus car would lift it so high up & drop it free falling to the ground to ascertain its durability/ruggedness(?). Alas, na lie!
