I hate to tell you, but Hyundai is South Korean, not Japanese.

  2. Hyundais and Kias are poorly made and cheap cars. There is a reason the working poor and uneducated drive them. Next time you go driving just look at them and you will understand.

  15. @CulturePub Those countries were flowovers from the success in France. A classmate and I did our MBA internships in Japan and his boss was the man that developed this commercial. He was even kind enough to give us a presentation on their foreign market penetration strategies of which this was one of his key success stories.

  16. @CJack14dt This ad was developed for TV and also ran in cinema advertising for a month in Sweden, Belgium and France. The company enjoyed a 21% sales increase from the campaign in Sweden.
    Best Culture Pub

  17. Hate to break it to you but this is the commercial aired in France not Sweden that single handedly introduced the Hyundai line of vehicles to that market. The Japanese were having extreme difficulties understanding how to penetrate the market and decided to go to this route.

  19. what song is this

  20. OMG that was funny :-)

  21. Does anyone know is the song in the commercial in an actual song or was made for the commercial? Its sounds very much like L’Anamour by Serge Gainsbourg, however the lyrics aren’t the same but the instrumental appears the same
