@Skloosh It isn’t a song. It was produced in a studio specifically for the advert.
August 12th, 2010 - 09:25
This advert is about staying loyal to a Make…Like when you trade in your Hyundai to buy a new Hyundai. It has nothing to do with owning more than one or persuading you to own more than you need…
So, does anybody know what the name of this song is?
August 12th, 2010 - 09:25
@carmenism DIfficult to explain the mannerisms and look but it’s the deep set eyes and the way he looks at his wife and holds the ball. It couldn’t really be more American.

@LPwonder2008 oh my goodness what a name hahah!
August 12th, 2010 - 09:25
oh my dear hahaha XD
August 12th, 2010 - 09:25
@CrispyPork What mannerisms are American here? I’m not being doubtful or insulted; I’m just curious to know how an English person views this commercial.
And I agree… These ads are a little silly with the “Ours just buy another Hyundai.” I don’t think they are trying to tell people to buy multiple cars. I think they mean the people who own a Hyundai get another Hyundai when the car needs replacing, but – yes – it’s a little convoluted and has nothing to do with soccer!

I would name my child maybe after my favourites
Ronaldinho Zidane Shevchenko Xavi Okacha Lualua Ibrahimovic

She doesn’t like soccer.
August 12th, 2010 - 09:25
What do you mean American mannerisms? Why would you put American mannerisms in an England based commercial?
August 12th, 2010 - 09:25
I’m sorry but if you’re gonna make an ad supposed to set in England at least cast the most American looking guy you can find coupled with the most American mannerisms.
Also! Aside from irrelevantly crowbarring soccer into an ad I don’t understand the message. Yeah ‘soccer’ fans show their loyalty in different ways, all unconditional. Hyundai are saying they’ll only show you loyalty if you buy another car. Not just owning one but buying another one!

Just because Tommy Smith injured an ankle is no reason to leave his name off the birthday cake!
August 12th, 2010 - 09:25

1966 Liverpool! You’ll never walk alone!
August 12th, 2010 - 09:25
I like the team (players and coaching staff) kid was named after but don’t like the ad itself tbh.

I love how the mum walks away with her child after she’s had enough of her soccer dad husband! This is what most women do to protect their children from overbearing sports dads!
