American Idol Top 2 Ford Commercial – I Will Remember You by Kris and Adam

American Idol 8 Winner Kris Allen and Finalist Adam Lambert sing "I Will Remember You." It's my favorite Ford commercial to date. Got a bit nostalgic with this, especially now that the season's over. All the best to both Kris and Adam. Hope they do more duets in the future :) Download the MP3 here: eliza.freetxp.com

  1. ahahaha so am i
    I miss them<3

  2. I’m crying…

  3. I listened to this over and over to figure it out, and there’s no doubt in my head Adam is the one over powering it. :) But it doesn’t matter, what really matters is they’re both AMAZING singers, and they should’ve recorded the ENTIRE song, because it is SO much better than the original. :D I’m sure it would of gotten lots of downloads on Itunes.

  4. adam is really 2x adorable

  5. 0:36 adam is gorgeous. not fair. <3 But, i loveee him!!

  6. Wauw, their voices just fit together.. <3
I really hope they decide to make music together, they've been talking about it at least..

  7. Kradam. Is. Wonderful <3

  8. Love them both! Kradam is beautiful…

  9. kris won, adam didnt. all u adam fans who r bashing on kris cuz he won are just idiots. its ur fault u didnt vote enough to make adam the winner.. and dont blame kris for winning saying hes not as talented as adam! cuz he might not be a better singer but he is definitely a unique artist. and to b honest, kris sounds better here than adam

  10. Wow, that sounded amazing. They need to collab.

  11. It’s fun looking at kradam videos:)

  12. 0:26 wow. this line reminds me for this guy who likes me ;)

  13. 0:26 there is so muchhh i cant say ;) here you go andrew… that line was for you. <3 love

  14. omg still in love. i remeber adam

  15. 0:36 !!!! ADAM i love u!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. adam. kris. u two need to do a duet of this song, except make it the FULL song!!

  17. aww this makes me happy! and sad at the same time. i love them both so much

  18. LOVE this :)

  19. Kris’s voice is the prominent voice in the first half of the song (until about 27 seconds into the video), then Adam’s voice from 0:27 onward is the prominent voice…

  20. Omg :-O They so need to make a music video together. They should sing ‘Tell him’ in the style of Celine and Barbra. Adam wearing a hot sexy jacket and for Kris, clothing is optional. Then, they so need to make out in the romantic video – the straight meets the gay. It would be like the hottest video of the year. :-)

  21. oh man, every time I listen to this it brings tears to my eyes… They sound so beautiful together! Im just in awe..

  22. I agree! Those bitterberts are making the rest of us Adam fans that actually like/don’t mind (le GASP!) the other Idols look like psycho twilight lovin’ tweeny boppers! Take a chill pill, bitterberts! I love Adam as much as the next Glambert, but really, no need for the Kris dissin’ – he’s a talented guy!

  23. Unison: “I try to keep it simple cause I hate goodbyes”
Kris melody, Adam harmony: “I try to keep it simple by telling myself, that I, I will remember you, and all of the things that we’ve been through”
Adam melody, Kris harmony: “There is so much I can say, but words get in the way so”
Unison: “When we’re not together, I will remember you.”

  24. Adam & Kris sang the 1st part of the verse, then Kris starts singing the melody “and i try to keep it simple by telling myself”, then Adam & Kris both goes into the chorus “I will remember you…” with Adam singing the melody & Kris the harmony. They sing together again “So we’re not together I will remember you” .

  25. Hun, I love both Kris and Adam (and this song, too), so I’m listening to it from an unbiased perspective.

No one is overpowering either contestant. From a technical viewpoint, if you download the file and extract the two voices from each other and play them separately, you would see that in the first part, it is Kris singing more dominantly, and in the last part, it’s Adam.

Still don’t believe me? I suggest you try my digital voice separation method to see my point. :)
